Special focus on small businesses

Guided by the vision of the Rulers of the UAE, we actively encourage small and medium businesses (SMEs) to become our prospective suppliers, and our commitment to this mission is underlined by various ongoing policies:

  • Encourage SMEs to bid for tenders, without compromising the interests of the Emirates Group
  • Ensure that delivery schedules are established realistically, in order to encourage maximum SME participation
  • Upon request, provide the contact details of a P&L representative to answer all queries related to a tender
  • Conduct seminars for SMEs on how to do business with P&L
  • Participate, whenever practicable, in SME seminar and conferences organised by the Dubai Development & Investment Authority, or other bodies
